Welcome to the Carlisle Elementary web page. I hope that you find the information that we have provided for you to be useful. I invite you to visit our home page on a regular basis, as updates to this page will be ongoing. Our goal is to provide you a fun, interactive, and informative site.

Carlisle Elementary is a K-5 facility that serves 550 terrific children and their families. We are located in Central Plano, in the middle of a wonderful neighborhood, surrounded by parks, hike and bike trails, and right next door to Schimelpfenig Middle School. Carlisle Elementary has been in operation since 1984. I have had the privilege to serve this great learning community since the 1998-1999 school year.

The mission statement of Carlisle Elementary reads, “Carlisle students will develop a sense of self worth, a desire to help others, and a strong academic foundation from which to continue a lifelong pursuit of learning”. To this end, our parents, staff, and community are highly dedicated and committed to the success of every child. We are fortunate to have the support of an active PTA, caring and involved parents, and the talents of an experienced and dedicated staff.

Since 1984, Carlisle Elementary has earned many awards. We have been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School, USDoE Drug Free and Safe School, McGruff Exemplary Campus, as well as earning the Texas Exemplary School Status from 1997-2005.
