TAKS TESTING

TAKS testing will be conducted on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, April 29th, May 1st and 2nd.

Tuesday - 10th grade Math
Thursday - 9th grade Math and 10th grade Science
Friday - 10th grade Social Studies

Students … BEFORE test day, please check the testing rosters to see exactly where your testing room is located. Testing rosters are posted throughout the building.

On test days, we need for you to arrive by 8:45 a.m. so you will have plenty of time to get to your classroom by 9:00 a.m.

If you bring a lunch on test day, please take your lunch to the testing room. You will not be allowed to go to your locker to get your lunch.

Please leave your cell phones … as well as any other electronic devices at home. If you happen to bring a cell phone or any other electronic devices to school, they must stay in your locker. Any cell phone or electronic device that is in the testing room will be delivered to the front office and will have to be retrieved by a parent after school.

Please bring 2 sharpened #2 pencils to the testing room. You may also bring highlighters, colored pencils, or colored overlays if you need to use them during testing. Calculators will be provided for you. Do not bring your calculator to the testing room.

You may also bring a novel to read … after testing is completed. Specific testing information for each grade level will be included.

Complimentary breakfast will be provided for all students the morning of the tests.
