Art - Second Grade
|
|
1. In this assignment, Second
graders learned how to make their drawings more
spatial. Translating a perception into visual
form is one of the toughest things to do. In
this project, the students learned about things
that are far away (backgrounds) and things that
are close (foregrounds) by using notable landscape
artists. Here, they utilized their knowledge
to render landscapes in paint.
2. It is my goal, as an art teacher,
to promote self-expression throughout the grade
levels by giving the students key foundational
tools. In the “origami house” project,
the students learned to follow directions and
later used their creativity to create a scene
of their choosing.
