Do
you like to....
> use your imagination to think up weird stuff?
> dress up in costumes?
> act in a play?
> draw or paint?
> solve weird problems?
If so, then Destination Imagination just might be fun for
you! This is a competition held in February that has 5-7
members on a team. Students solve a long-term problem and
then perform a short skit before judges. A second part of
the competition is a spontaneous problem-solving activity.
Each team needs a parent coach, too.
Destination Imagination
(DI) is an international organization for students that
teaches life skills and expands imaginations through team-based
creative problem solving. Teams of seven members work together
with the support of a team manager, a parent, to solve one
of 5 challenges in a skit format. THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN
TO ALL PLANO STUDENTS.
