This is my first year to be part of the Forman Family and I am very excited to be the Assistant Principal. I’m currently beginning my 26th year in education with 22 of those years being employed by Plano ISD. During my years as a classroom teacher, I was a member of the Integrated Curriculum Team and helped develop the third grade curriculum. I was a classroom teacher for 15 years and have spent the last 10 years of my career working in the Instructional Technology Department of Plano ISD. Before becoming a teacher, I attended Texas Tech University and University of North Texas to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. In 2001 I obtained my Principal Certification from the University of Texas Arlington. As last year ended, I felt it was time for me to once again work closely with children. I wanted to be able to be directly involved in making a difference in their education. I’m so very fortunate to be at Forman and working with such a dedicated staff and principal. Besides my Forman family, I have 2 grown children of my own and I’ve been blessed with 3 beautiful granddaughters all of which live close to me.
