Second Grade Curriculum

Nancy Schiff

Nancy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Trenton State College, which is located in Trenton, New Jersey. She is certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She has been teaching at Gulledge since she moved here from New Jersey in 1995. Her previous teaching experiences included teaching pre kindergarten through 3rd grade in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Nancy is the second grade team leader.

Kathy Tripp

Kathy Tripp received her degree from the University of Kansas. She joined Gulledge after serving as a long term sub in third grade. Previously she has taught a total of 8 years in Maryland and Kansas.

Amy Cox

Amy Cox has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas. She joined the second grade team in August 2005. Mrs. Cox was voted by her peers to be Gulledge's 2005-2006 Beginning Teacher of the Year.

Emily Hollingsworth

Emily Hollingsworth graduated from the University of North Texas in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and an emphasis in Elementary Education. Certified to teach EC-4, she began her career teaching second grade in Farmersville ISD before joining the second grade team at Gulledge Elementary in 2007. She was honored to receive Beginning Teacher of the Year for 2007-2008.
