Lots of interesting activities are scheduled this year for the library.
My goal for the library program is to nurture a love for literature, inspire life-long learning and critical thinking, and help to create effective information users. Students will have opportunities to participate in story-time activities, puppet shows, book fairs, storytellers, reading contests and the list goes on and on . . . .

This is my third year at Harrington Elementary. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from North Texas State University and a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University. I have eight years of experience as a librarian and 12 years as a classroom teacher.

I am married and I have 2 grown children and three grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, listening to classical music, art, and of course, – READING!

Please remember that you are always welcome to visit the library. I hope that my love and enthusiasm for reading is contagious! Please feel free to contact me anytime.
