• Physical Education is a school subject required by the Texas Education Agency.
  
• All elementary students are expected to be active participants during their scheduled Physical Education period.
  
• Tennis shoes are required to ensure each child's safety.
  
• Girls wearing dresses need shorts on underneath.
  
• If a student cannot participate in Physical Education for a day or two for any reason, a note from the student's parent/guardian must be given to a Physical Education coach when the student returns.
  
• If there is a medical reason which would prevent the student from participating in Physical Education for more than 3 days, a note from a doctor must be given to a coach to keep on file.
  
• A doctor's release is required when a child has been unable to participate in Physical Education for an extended period of time.
