Andra Harris, Team Leader: I have been teaching for 29 years! I have enjoyed teaching all grades K-4, but my love is in kindergarten. I received my undergraduate degree from Kansas State Teachers College and my masters degree from University of North Texas. I am certified in gifted education and early childhood education. Jamie Burns: I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001. I have a dog named Roscoe. I am a proud product of Plano Independent School District! This is my fifth year at Huffman Elementary and my seventh year teaching. Kindergarten is my calling. Kindergartners are like sponges. They absorb everything! To watch a kindergartner transform from the beginning of the year to the end is such an amazing journey! You

Shawn Greenberg: I am originally from Michigan. I have been teaching for fourteen years thirteen of those have been at Huffman. I have taught second grade and kindergarten. I love teaching kindergarten and I love working at Huffman Elementary! I am married and have one son. My son is a fourth grader at Huffman. I have two cats and three dogs. In my spare time I do volunteer work with two animal rescue groups. I also love to travel, spend time with my family and work out. You

graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005. My first year of teaching,
I was honored as Huffman’s Beginning Teacher of the Year. I am extremely
excited to begin my third year of teaching. I am working with a wonderful

Claudia
Eckert: I
am so happy to be joining the Huffman team! My daughter attended Huffman
so it feels like coming home. Our family moved to Plano 10 years ago from
Charlotte, N.C.. My husband, Gary and I celebrated our 30th anniversary
this summer. We have two children, Jonathan and Jordyn. Jonathan is a
senior and Jordyn is a freshman at the University of Oklahoma. Boomer
Sooner! Both attended Plano schools and received an excellent education.
Our family enjoys the beach for vacations, sports (especially soccer and
OU football), golf and entertaining friends. |
