MeLisa Feledichuk: I am SO excited to be the new Music Specialist at Huffman Elementary! I’m a native Texan, and I received my degree in Music Education from Sam Houston State University. Go BEARKATS!! After college, I met a wonderful Canadian named George who whisked me up to the “Great White North!” We moved back to Texas over 5 years ago, along with our two awesome children: George III - a Junior at PSHS, and Brittani - an 8th grader at Schimelpfenig MS.

I have taught private voice, general music and choir to students from K - 12th Grade. Elementary Music has become my true passion! I love that I can offer a variety of activities through singing, playing instruments, creative movement and dramatic play. I’m thrilled to be in an environment that is so supportive and will allow me to be creative in developing a program that will help our children to become musically literate while having tons of FUN!!
