MeLisa Feledichuk: I am SO excited to be the Music Specialist at Huffman Elementary ~ Pride of the West Side; Pride of all Plano!! I'm a native Texan, and I received my degree in Music Education from Sam Houston State Univerisity. Go BEARKATS!! After college, I met a wonderful Canadian named George who whisked me up to the "Great White North." We moved back to Texas in 2002, with our two awesome children: George III - a Freshman at UTD; and Brittani - a Sophomore at Jasper High School.

I have taught private voice, general music and choir to students from K - 12th Grade. Elementary Music has become my true passion! I love that I can offer a variety of activities that through singing, playing instruments, creative movement and dramatic play. I'm thrilled to be in an environment that is so supportive and that has allowed me to be creative in developing a program that will help our children to become musically literate while having tons of FUN!!
