Carolyn Curfman: Carolyn Curfman is a native Texan, born in San Antonio. She has lived in many different states, as well as Mexico City, Mexico. Her educational background is varied with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a Masters of Education from the University of North Texas. She is also certified in Language Learning Disabilities and Gifted and Talented Education. Mrs. Curfman has taught thirty years in Plano and has been a Literacy Specialist for eight years. She has been married to her wonderful husband Larry for forty two years. Her family includes her daughter, daughter-in-law and son. The spice of her life is her nine year old grand daughter. Mrs. Curfman's hobbies include reading, traveling and crafts. She loves to learn and is passionate about teaching. This is her fifth year at Huffman Elementary.
