Memorial has an excellent staff of Paraprofessionls assisting throughout the building.
In the Special Education Department, we have Carol Truscott, SueSue Davis, Angela Williams, Michelle Phillips and Lanette Brunott assisting the Special Education teachers and the classroom teachers. They offer help to students who need a little extra work time and guidance.
Assisting the bilingual teachers are Rosa Maria Avitia, Indira Curtis, Carolina Soto, Jackie Rivera and Marialaura Gonzalez de Pino,
Erica Palencia directs the Parent Center. She is available to help parents who want to learn English and how to help their children succeed in the classroom.
Our PE assistants are Jason Cobb and Lori McCaffrey. We aren't sure who has more fun in PE, the students or the coachs, but there are always exciting things going on in the gym.
Assisting in the library doing everything from checking books in and out and working with the students is Donna Steed. This is Donna's third year at Memorial but she has been with the district starting her fourteenth year working at other campuses as library assistant. We are so happy to welcome her to Memorial!
Taking care of the technology in the building is Jill Gipson. Beginning her thirteenth year at Memorial and is still enjoying the work. No two days are alike since there is so much technology is the building. One day it might be a problem with a computer and the next a television monitor is not working correctly. You might even find her in the hall or classroom taking pictures of activties being done! You just never know where she might turn up.
