About our School...

As a two-time National Blue Ribbon School, and a Texas Exemplary School, Plano Senior High School has a long history of academic excellence and innovative programs that meet the needs of its highly diverse community.  Housing only juniors and seniors, PSHS offers a full range of courses in all academic areas including honors and Advanced Placement.  Seventy-two percent of the faculty holds advanced degrees.

About our Community and District...

Plano is a suburban city of approximately 225,000 residents located just north of Dallas.  The Plano Independent School District is comprised of 39 elementary schools (K - 5), 11 middle schools (6 - 8), five high schools (9 - 10) and three senior high schools (11 - 12).  The district serves over 44,000 students.  More than sixty-five percent of the staff hold advanced degrees.
