$$ What is It?$$

The High Finance Investment Club is an organization that helps all members dip their feet into the often-complicated intricacies of the stock market. Each semester, the members form teams of four to five and invest one hundred thousand dollars (don’t worry; the money is not real) into the actual stock market. Not only are they competing against other teams in the High Finance Investment Club, they are competing against other schools’ teams in Texas. Each Thursday after school, the teams meet up and discuss their portfolios and start trading stocks on the internet. The experience that comes from learning in this club will ultimately help any novice investors or help others who want to learn about how the stock market works.

$$ Questions or Comments? $$

If you are interested in finding out more about the High Finance Investment Club or you would like to join, general meetings are every Thursday after school in room B147B or contact Ms. Dilworth by e-mail.
