About
PSHS NFL/TFA Chapter

Here
at Plano Senior, we have a tradition of
excellence. Students who compete on a
Speech and Debate team have a real edge
over their peers. Students hone skills
not only in the classroom, but also in
real life practice at tournaments. Depending
on the event, students perform original
or selected works at tournaments hosted
by the Texas Forensic Association, University
Interscholastic League and National Forensic
League. In August, students have the opportunity
to host a Texas Forensic Association Tournament.
In February, PSST! students have the opportunity
to audition to attend the Stanford University
Invitational Tournament. Competitive Speech
students learn teamwork, communication
and leadership skills, how to take criticism,
and how to grow from that criticism.
