Algebra II

| PREREQUISITE: | Algebra I and/or Geometry or Honors Geometry |
| DESCRIPTION: | Algebra II is a strong applications based course designed for the college-bound student. Students are expected to have retained a fair percentage of the material from previous math courses and to be prepared to build on their established skills. Students will also be expected to read the textbook and to do the "cover the reading" sections in order to be prepared for the daily lesson. |
| HOMEWORK: | There will be an assignment almost every night which will require reading as well as working problems. Most students will need to work approximately 30 minutes outside of class; however, those who work slowly will require more time. |
| TESTS: | Tests will occur approximately every two to three weeks. |
