Successful completion of Biology 1 and Geometry. Course Description: A traditional, college-prep course which introduces the student to the quantitative and qualitative aspects of general chemistry. A laboratory based course that emphasizes the development of theoretical models which serve as a foundation to higher level science courses. The successful student in this course is one that has strong math skills, a high reading level, and well-developed study skills. Computer based technology, including the use of probe-ware, is a component of the course. Students will be expected to develop lab reports based on observable data.
