Course Description:
Theatre Arts I is designed to give the student an overall appreciation of
theatre as a performing art, as well as an introduction to production
skills. It will acquaint the student with basics of acting and
improvisation through voice, body and sensory explorations. In addition,
the course will include the fundamentals of play production, technical
theatre, dramatic literature and theatre

III-IV - Syllabus
Course Description: Theatre III-IV is a continuation of Theatre
I-II. Exploration of career opportunities in theatre and theatre related
fields and auditioning will be studied, as well as the production process.
Important literary works will be studied along with characterization,
physicality, vocal work and the continued development of the actors
instrument.

Productions is an honors theatre course. Exploration of career
opportunities in theatre and theatre related fields and auditioning will
be studied, as well as the production process. Important literary
works will be studied along with characterization, physicality, vocal work
and the continued development of the actors instrument. Educational
theatre departments of university, college and professional affiliations
will also be examined for career opportunities. This course is
devised to prepare the student for theatrical study at the university and
professional level.
