Athletes who ONLY want to participate in basketball for the 2006-07 school year should be enrolled in 7th period basketball by the beginning of school.

There will be a mandatory basketball tryout meeting on the first day of school in the main gym beginning at 4:30pm. Meeting will last approximately 30 minutes.

Basketball tryout session will begin on Thursday, August 10 and continue for approximately 2 weeks.

All athletes trying out are REQUIRED to have a current medical physical and medical history form on file at Shepton or turned into Coach Mogan by August 10. (Incoming freshman will need to have a new physical/medical history unless they have already had one in the summer of 2006. Incoming sophomores will need to a have a new physical/medical history unless they have already had one within the last calendar year (Aug. 2005 to present), and/or participated in athletics at Shepton in the 2005-06 school year.)

*Any athlete who sustained a significant injury since their last physical will need a new physical/medical history in order to participate in tryouts.
