Purpose:

The purpose of Choir is to perform a diverse array of literature and promote music literacy.

Requirements:

• Suggested voluntary contribution to Shepton Choral Society - $35.00
• Choir polo shirt- $25.00
• Uniform rental/cleaning- $16.00
• Composite picture- $15.00
• Many of the expenses listed above can be covered through active participation in fund-raises.

We will probably sing at home Basketball games as an entire group, smaller group or soloists. Soloists for the National Anthem are in demand for these events. Contact Ms. Sara Boswell if you are interested.

Also, if you're interested in singing a solo on our Winter rotation, please choose an appropriate piece and provide your own accompaniment tape or CD. Live guitar or piano accompaniment is acceptable, but the outdoor performance venues will be COLD.

Auditions for solos will be scheduled during the first week of November, so have something prepared! Between six to eight solos may be featured.
