Shepton has five counselors available to students for academic and personal counseling. Students are encouraged to come by the counselor's office before and after school and during lunch to request a meeting with a counselor. Each Shepton student has been assigned a counselor by alphabetic breakdown.
Schedules
Adjustments to schedules will be made if:
•	The student is enrolled in a class for which credit has already been earned;
•	The student failed a prerequisite;
•	The student has an obvious error on the schedule such as two classes scheduled for the same period, the same class on the schedule twice, or the incorrect level (honors or regular) of a class.
Students who have a complete schedule must follow that schedule for the first two days of the semester.
Dropping or adding a class is not permitted after the first two weeks of the semester.
