Stacy Lawrence, Team Leader

I am so excited to be back at Wells again this year for my 3rd year! I received my BS degree in Elementary Ed from Moorhead State University, Moorhead, MN. I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. This is my 17th year of teaching! I spent my first seven years teaching in Bloomington, Minnesota. I relocated to Plano, TX in 2001 after I got married and have been teaching first and third grades in Plano ISD ever since. My husband and I have two awesome children with our 3rd on the way, due Feb. 91 Being a mom has brought an even greater understanding to my job as a teacher, as I continually strive to be the best teacher that I can be! I dreamed of being a teacher way back when I was in first grade, so it is extremely special to be a first grade teacher today. Outside of school, I spend each minute I can with my family, reading, walking to the park, swimming, and just playing!
