The Volunteer Corner

Volunteers are what make Williams so special. Without you we would not have been able to produce the summer mailing, hold a successful schedule pick-up, or have a stress-free first week of school. Eight of the Williams parents and two new freshmen volunteered two days to stuff newsletter packets in June. Another 20 parents helped with schedule pick-ups in July. Out first day of school brought 12 parents to help Williams staff. Thank you to each and every one of you who helped these first few months of the new school year.

PTSA has 18 parents volunteering to sell ice cream during lunch. seven copy moms, and two hall monitors. We can use many more. If you have time, we have a job for you.
Copy Room-if you have two hours every other week to spend copying for teachers, then we can use you. The days volunteers are needed are Monday, Thursday, or Friday.
Ice Cream-we need volunteers every other Tuesday and Friday. This is a great way to spend time with the students during lunch. The time is 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Hall Monitor-parents are needed to ensure students are in class or the cafeteria during lunch periods. This is a great way to spend your lunch every other week (or weekly). The time is 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Office-if you have a couple of hours and would like to help in the front office, this job is for you. Duties vary depending on the time of day and can include filing and greeting students and parents as they come to the office. The times involved are one and one-half to two hours morning or afternoons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

To volunteer for one of these sought after jobs, call Pam Polsky at 972-480-9633 or email pcpolsky@hotmail.com. Join the best group on campus-PTSA VOLUNTEERS!
