  Technology at Aldridge

As part of Plano ISD, we at Aldridge feel privileged to have many of the conveniences that modern technology provides.  Technology enables us to:

  •     Display computer screens on televisions in the classroom
  •     Watch streaming videos that support the curriculum
  •     Share lesson ideas throughout the district
  •     Have a whole class using computers at the same time
  •     Create multimedia presentations
  •     Broadcast live morning announcements and other programs
  •     Share what we have learned with other schools across the country
  •     Create digital artwork
  •     Access various databases and the library catalog online from school or home
  •     And much more!

Technology Crew

Students in fourth and fifth grade are invited to join the Technology Crew.  These students create multimedia presentations for use with the announcements, create simple web pages, and learn how to use a variety of technological equipment including the mobile broadcast cart, digital video camera, digital camera, and more. They also assist one or two days a week with the live morning announcements.
