Family: My wife Andrea and I have three children: Kaylee, 11, Jakob, 7, and Robyn 5
Jack-jack the wonder cat is also a part of our family. We moved from California to
Texas last summer. Most of my family now lives in the DFW area.
Interests/Hobbies:
I love to go see Science Fiction and action movies. I also have a unique
combination of Sci-fi and education books on my nightstand. I love to go on trips
with my family, and visit museums an historical landmarks. My kids and I enjoy
going to airshows, and watching the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels perform. I
enjoy being beat by my son on our X-box games. I have a great love of education and learning.
If I hadn't been a teacher, I would have been: a pilot.
Why? I enjoy flying and have a great love for aviation. It would be wonderful to be able to see the world,
and get paid for it at the same time.
Interesting facts about me:
All of my family are in the medical field, but I just couldn't bring myself to wear scrubs!
My favorite show is Battlestar Galactica. Are you a fan too?
I was 19 when I started getting gray hair. My wife says I look like George Clooney now. Ha ha!
Education: In 2006, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M Commerce.
Years in Education: I have been a full-time teacher for one year. Prior to full-time teaching, I was a substitute
teacher for two years.
Family: I married my high school sweetheart three years ago. I also have 3 dogs at home
that occupy much of my time. My parents and younger brother live in Mesquite.
Interests/Hobbies: I enjoy reading, dancing and watching football and baseball.
If I hadn't been a teacher, I would have been: a counselor.
Why? I enjoy helping and observing others succeed.

Family: I have 2 younger brothers that live in Mesquite, TX with my parents, and I
now live in Plano with my husband, our dog, and our new kitten.
Interests/Hobbies: Reading, dancing, listening to music, playing with guitar, crossword puzzles,
shopping, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
If I hadn't been a teacher, I would have been: A pediatrician, or a counselor.
Why? I enjoy helping others.
Interesting facts about me: I grew up in Mesquite, Texas. I recently got married during
the summer of this year. My favorite color is red, and I'm a Dallas Mavericks fan.

I have a B.A. in psychology with a minor in Spanish from Southern Methodist
University.
I also have an M.B.A. in International Business from St. John’s University.

I have a sister who is a hair colorist in Park Cities. My mom lives in Arizona
and is an
interpreter for the Federal Court. The majority of my family lives in the
DFW area, which is very nice!
Interests/Hobbies:
I love to read, dance, draw, and learn foreign languages

studied Spanish, Italian, French and Arabic).
I also like learning about history.

I lived in Rome, Italy from 2003 to 2005.

Education:
I received my Bachelor Degree of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at
Texas A&M at Commerce.
Family: I am newly married and happier than ever! I also have an
11 year old pug named Bella that I am crazy about. She is very much a part of our family.
My sister and brother in-law live in California while he is finishing up his second
tour in Iraq. He is definitely my hero. My father lives in the Dallas area, and my mother and
stepfather are retired and reside in Costa Rica. It's nice to always have a beautiful
place to vacation to.
If I hadn't been a teacher: I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I
can remember. I was very fortunate to have so many wonderful and inspiring
teachers throughout the years. Now it's my turn to be that special teacher!.
Education: B.S. in Interior Design from Stephen F. Austin State University in December 2000.
I added an elementary teaching certificate in 2003.
Years in Education: This is my fifth year to teach. I have taught 4th, 2nd and now 3rd.
This is my third year to teach PACE or GT programs.
Family: I am married and have a 5th grader at Shepard Elementary. My parents
and siblings live in Carrollton, so I do get to see them frequently.
Interests/Hobbies: I am a voracious reader. I am also an artist, a singer, a photographer,
and a degreed Interior Designer. I love to play indoor soccer (games are Monday nights!)
and mountain bike with my sister.
If I hadn’t
been a teacher, I would have been: a Doctor of Naturopathy or a Holistic
Nutrition Counselor.
Why? Because health and wellness are vital to a great quality of life, and helping others would thrill me!

facts about me:
I LOVE to cook for people. I love shopping in Canton. I'm learning to play guitar.
I love watchingmovies and having thought-provoking conversations about them. I love
teaching and seeing the progress students make each year. I'm meticulously organized (Is that even interesting?!).
I am a green belt in Tae Kwon Do. I decorated model homes for David Weekly Homes for 2 years all over the country. Fun!

facts about me:
I am kind of obsessed with chandeliers, lists, post-its, and markers. Before
deciding to become a teacher,
I worked in sales, was a personal assistant, and worked in the pilot training
department at Southwest Airlines
for 2 years. I love teaching, it is perfect for me!
