because I would love to work for children no matter what I do for a living,
and the environment is very important to their well being
Interesting facts about me: I would have loved to grow up in the 40’s or 50’s.

Interests/Hobbies: I like going on jogs around my neighborhood. I also like to read suspense novels with gripping plots. Santa Monica, California is my favorite place to just get away for awhile. When I go there I stay with my grandma and visit the beach as much as possible.
If I hadn’t been a teacher, I would have been... a nurse because I love helping others feel better.
Interesting facts about me: My last name is Lagos which means "Lakes" in Spanish. I am a Plano Wildcat alum, but I also cheer for the Plano East panthers (unless, of course they're playing my Wildcats). I am ambidextrous.
Education: Miami University in Oxford, Ohio
Years in Education: Two years as a long term sub. This is my second year teaching at Christie.
Family: I have a daughter in 7th grade, son in 4th grade. Both in Plano, of course!
My husband of 16 years is in medical sales. We currently have no pets, but I’m sure that will change.
Interests/Hobbies: I love to read, ride bikes, exercise, watch movies, paint, draw and sing.
I wish I knew how to speak Spanish and French fluently.
