Interests/Hobbies: I love camping, hiking, fishing--all when I go home to Colorado
with my family. I love scrap booking; I love spending time in Hobby Lobby to see what I can
make & create for my gifts; and I love watching the Cowboys, whether they win or lose.

Hanging out with my family, reading (when I get a chance!), and watching TV
Interesting facts about me: I went to college to be in TV production. After working in the field for a few years, I decided it wasn’t the job for me. I started subbing and fell in love with teaching. I haven’t looked back since. AND, this year, I am teaching with my kindergarten teacher!
Education: Bachelors in Science (Geology, Physics and Chemistry), Masters in Chemistry, Bachelors in Education, and I'm in the process of having my credentials in Education being reviewed by SBEC and eventually obtain my Teachers' Certification to be able to teach secondary level sciences.

Interests/Hobbies:I love outdoors, travel, movies, cine-arts, foreign movies, floral design, dancing, fun stuff with family and friends, yoga, various types of exercises, reading Non-Fiction, staycationing, arts, music, community events and volunteering and contributing to our community.
If I hadn’t been a teacher...That's easy...I would have been a Geologist. I just fell in love with Geology in College. Or...I would have been an Astronomer. I had a course in Astronomy and I just loved it.
Interesting Facts About Me: I was born in India. Came to USA about 16 yrs ago. I had a wonderful opportunity to live in Italy on account of my husband's ex-pat assignment for about an year and I can speak a little Italian along with my other two Indian languages, Telugu and Hindi. Fell in love with Italian language, Italy, anything to do with Italian. Visited Israel, England, Puerto Rico and little bit of USA. Once my kids are grown, I'll be traveling and live in each country for at least 6 months to an year. Of course, I can wiggle my nostrils and ears!!

Johnny Rodriquez (Resource - VIP)
Education: I graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Years in Education: 25
Family: I have a beautiful wife, Amy. We will celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary in March.
I also have three children: Susan, 21, and my grandbaby, Leeyah; David, 18; and Michael, 15.
Interests/ Hobbies: I love sports, especially Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboy football.

in my garage doing small projects and working on my yard. I love to spend time with my family.
If I hadn’t been a teacher, I would have been: a Texas Highway Patrolman or a Texas Ranger.
Why? I had a family friend who was in law enforcement and loved his job. He impressed me so much that I

About Me:
I played four years of college football. At Ranger Junior College in 1979,
we were the National Junior College Football Champions. Our records were
10-1 and 11-1. I also played for Cameron University where I went to two NAIA Bowl games.
Our records while I was there were 9-2 and 10-1. My four-years
combined college football team record was an impressive 40-4.
On a separate note, I have been a body guard, a truck driver, a security guard, a Driver's Ed
instructor (in Washington, DC!!!), and many other things--too many to mention!
Marcy Maher (Resource - 1st)
Education: I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2005. Go Frogs!!!!
Years in Education: I taught for 4 years in Northeast Fort Worth and this is my first year at Christie!!!
Family: My parents and two older sisters live in Kansas City, Missouri. I recently got engaged and will be getting married July 9, 2010!
Interests/ Hobbies: I love to do anything outdoors and anything with friends or family!
If I hadn’t been a teacher, I would have... done something with animals...a zookeeper or veterinarian.

Years in Education: I first taught three years in Bryan ISD, last year I was in Iola ISD, and now Plano!
Family: I got married this past July to my wonderful husband Tim. We have three "kids" together, our dogs Flip, Willie, and Charlie. I am also very close with my Mother (Liz), Father (C.W.), and brother (Buck), who all live in College Station.
