Kristen Carpenter graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, in December of 2000. She spent her first two years after graduating teaching third grade in Louisiana.

Susan Knighton is the second grade team leader. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas in 1998. Her major was Interdisciplinary Studies, with a specialization in English, as well as having a Science Composite. In 2009, Mrs. Knighton received her Master’s degree in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University. Susan is married to Bill Knighton, who is a graduate of Plano East. They have two children, Ryan and Brandon. Both of her children attended Dooley Elementary in grades K-5, which has allowed Mrs. Knighton to be actively involved at Dooley Elementary as a parent, as well as a teacher.

Andrea Burke has been a member of the Dooley staff since 1999. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where most of her family still resides today. She attended the University of New Mexico and earned her B.S. in Elementary Education in 1999. She enjoys spending her free time with her family. | ||
