I am very excited about being at Dooley and serving your children as their principal. My background includes teaching in early childhood, elementary, middle school, high school, and college graduate level classes in Education. As an administrator, I have served as a curriculum and staff development director; assistant principal, and currently, as principal. I have an Education Specialist Degree in School Administration, a Master's degree in Early Childhood, and a Bachelor's degree in Education.

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! I am very excited about serving Dooley on a full-time basis this year. Although I have been in education for 31 years, PISD has been my home for the past 22 years. During my years in education, I have been a Business Education teacher, a 4th grade teacher, a Special Education teacher and team leader (grades K-10), as well as an administrator for the past 6 years. I feel privileged to work in PISD and to be part of Dooley’s wonderful community. It has been my passion to observe students learn and grow each and every day and to encourage all students to follow their dreams and reach for the stars. I wish all our students and their families an amazing school year!

Gail Blessing grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University. Her hospital training was received at Citizens General Hospital. She has been with PISD School Health since 1995.

Kristen was born in Minnesota yet grew up in Northern New Jersey. She moved to Plano in 2003 with her husband, Bill and her two sons, Brett and Ryan. Kristen loves outdoor activities with her family and her three dogs: Tia, Riba and Barnaby.
