English for Speakers of Other Languages

I am so excited to be the ESOL teacher here at Mathews. I am a graduate of Texas A&M (formerly East Texas State University). I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Elementary Education. My teaching endorsements are in Elementary Education K – 8, English, and ESL. This is my 5th year to teach in Plano ISD and my 16th year to teach. I am so fortunate to be able to teach students of many different cultures and to learn from my students and their families. I like to think my students enjoy learning as much as I love teaching. Helping children learn and become acquainted with their new language is extremely rewarding.
