Born
and raised in Plano, Mr. Kennedy has grown up with the ever
changing and constantly improving PISD. Mr. Kennedy attended
Shepard, Wilson, Vines, and Plano Senior High School. Following
H.S. graduation in 1988, he went on to receive his B.A. at Texas
A&M and an M.A. from the University of North Texas. Mr.
Kennedy taught history for 5 years at Robinson Middle School,
where he met his wife, Candice who also taught at the time.
They have two beautiful daughters, Tessa (7) and Lily (4). Kevin
served as a campus administrator on several middle school campuses
before arriving at Mathews three years ago. This is his second
year as full time Assistant Principal at Mathews. Mr. Kennedy
loves Mathews and enjoys the wonderful students, staff, and
community.
