Mathews Elementary Science Lab

Science lessons are much more fun
this year thanks to our wonderful new science lab. An empty classroom
has been turned into a place where students can explore all the wonderful
mysteries of science. Science posters highlighting third, fourth, and
fifth grade science topics cover the walls. Science tools and equipment
such as microscopes, beakers, graduated cylindears, and balance scales
are out and ready to be used. While in the lab the students are challenged
to “think like scientists” as they set up and conduct experiments
and use their problem solving skills to analyze scientific data. The
excitement and enthusiasm of the students involved in science lab activities
is contagious!! |
