Student Guidance Mike Rubin Counselor

As a school counselor, I provide support to the students, staff, and parents of the Meadows community. Support to students is provided through guidance lessons, small groups, and individual counseling. Guidance topics and small groups include concepts such as social skills, friendship skills, character traits, conflict resolution, study skills, safety, and drug prevention skills. Concepts are taught through the use of books, videos, and hands-on activities. As counselor, I also coordinate and oversee the implementation of the state’s TAKS testing.
