Meadows Elementary School
First Grade

o First grade lays the foundation for lifelong learning. In first grade we strive to teach not only academic skills, but also quality citizenship traits. First graders emerge in their reading and writing skills. Higher-level thinking and problem solving skills are the focus for our math and integrated curriculum. Teachers will work with students on their individual academic needs. First grade is a time for growing and experiencing new challenges. We all look forward to embracing each and every day with our life long learners.
