The award winning Plano East Senior High School Theatre Department unveiled its Fall 2008 Season this week. First up is Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Landford Wilson’s haunting drama The Rimers of Eldritch on October 2, 3 & 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Plano East Senior High Theatre located at 3000 Los Rios Blvd. Written in 1966, The Rimers of Eldritch revolves around a murder mystery in a small mid-western town. Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for adults. Audience seating for this play will be limited. This play is recommended for ages 13 and older.
The second production will be the Broadway musical, Footloose on November 20, 21 & 22 at 7:30 p.m. Based on the hit 1984 movie, Footloose includes such hits as “Holding Out for a Hero”, “Almost Paradise”, “Let’s Hear it for the Boy” and the title song, “Footloose”.
