The Salvation Army “Angel Tree” or the “Christmas Kettle” are great ways to spend time seeing that both children and adults receive something special for Christmas.  There are MANY ways one can give their time to assist those in need.  Check out the site.

Teen court is another alternative which can result in a dismissal of your charge. Your case would be heard before a jury of your peers who would then assess a number of community service hours as punishment.

There are many agencies listed on this site for volunteer ideas here in Collin County such as Hope’s Door, Samaritan Inn, Boys and Girls Clubs as well as many others.  Remember, in order for this to qualify, you must spend time – not money - with these organizations.
