Shepard Elementary School Plano ISD

Shepard students are encouraged to be STAR students: They show their best effort, take responsibility, act safely and respect all. These are the behavior guidelines used in all classrooms at Shepard. In addition, students are taught character traits such as self discipline and courage to do the right thing. Teachers reward students who display these good behaviors and traits with "Gold Tickets." Each month teachers select a student who has earned tickets - and those students represent their class as "Citizen of the Month." We are fortunate to have this celebration sponsored by Jeff Fraunheim with the Plano Rotary Club.
