Replacement plan for existing technology investment
The technology department completed an inventory with "life expectancy" of various equipment that has been installed over the past 5-10 years and is in need of replacement and/or upgrading to be useful in current curriculum or office applications. Using this three year bond program as a replacement plan will require that approximately:

• 50% of our computers (six year life cycle) - our minimum standard will become a 200 MHz Pentium PC with 128 megabytes of RAM.
• 75% of servers (four year life cycle)
• 100% of laptops (three year life cycle)
• and a percentage of printers, scanners, TV/monitors, VCRs, laserdisc players, VIDs, digital cameras, telephone switch software, and other equipment
