CLLIP is a cooperative
project involving Plano ISD libraries, City of Plano Public libraries
and the library at Collin County Community College, Spring Creek
campus. The purpose is to inform the Plano community of the library
resources and services that are available to all – from pre-school
children to adult lifelong learners! |
INFORMATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPS for pre-school children up to adult learners, the Plano ISD, Plano Public, and the Collin County Community College Libraries offer a wide variety of electronic, online resources. The 70 + CLLIP libraries provide more than 140 databases covering subjects from art to medicine, plus academic search engines that connect to hundreds of relevant websites. These specially selected electronic resources are timely, age-appropriate, and authoritative in order to meet the educational needs of students – regardless of age. And, in addition to library access, many of these resources are available at home! |
EASY ACCESS with a login and password supplied by your school librarian, a valid patron card and password from a Plano Public Library or a library account number from CCCC Library, students and parents are able to connect to these resources from their home computer at any time. This home access can eliminate many late night “last minute panics” over completing assignments. No need to worry that all of the “books on my topic” were checked out! |
