Our mission

The mission of the Plano Independent School District mathematics program is to promote the learning of mathematics by all students through a curriculum that is coherent and comprehensive. Mathematics instruction should provide all students with ample opportunities for inquiry, collaboration, reasoning, and modeling of mathematical ideas in order to develop their own mathematical understanding. The instructional program will enable all students to understand and use mathematics in an increasingly technological world.
