High School Whiz Quiz

Whiz Quiz is a 9th-12th grade program designed in the college-bowl whiz quiz format that challenges students' knowledge on topics such as history, math, science, art, literature, world events, entertainment, current events, and politics. Five member teams compete in a district tournament throughout the year, culminating with the District Whiz Quiz Finals. Out-of-district competition is a campus decision. Outcomes of tournaments determine national invitations.

Plano East Senior High Whiz Quiz team competed in the Quarter Finals Round and was defeated by Memorial of Houston in a tie breaker!

Plano East Senior High Whiz Quiz team brought home a strong second place victory from the State NAQT 2004 High School State Championship Tournament. The only defeat the team encountered throughout the day of highpowered competition was to St. John's of Houston, a team East had defeated during the first rounds of competition. Congratulations to Plano East!

East now advances to the NAQT 2004 High School National Championship in June.

2004 QuizNet Championship

Plano West Senior High's Whiz Quiz team soundly defeated Bromfield of Boston to win their first QuizNet title! CONGRATULATIONS!

Plano East Senior High's team came in third.
