Congratulations to the winning students and teachers of the 2007 Geography Awareness Week poster contest. Over 30,000 K-12 students from across Texas participated in this year's competition, and 8 of the top 16 posters belong to PISD students! The winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges as the best representations of this year's contest theme - "Celebrating Asia: A Continent of Contrasts."

The 1st place winners were honored at an awards ceremony at the State Capitol Building in Austin on Wednesday, November 14th.
