Summer Reading - Updated 6/18/2012

Plano ISD encourages all students to read consistently throughout the summer months.
Though we do not require specific titles for summer reading, we are committed to providing
students with a suggested summer reading list that includes titles that represent and support
the types of texts and the learning experiences that students will encounter when they return
to school the following year. By reading these texts and engaging in conversations around them,
students will continue to develop their critical thinking and inquiry skills throughout the summer.
