Overarching Concept: Continuity & Change
Organizing Idea: Change Is All Around Me
Unit Contents
The emphasis on activities during this Organizing Idea will be on observing and communicating a change rather than understanding why a change has occurred. Students will observe and communicate changes in plants and animals and in how mankind imposes changes on the environment. Students will work in groups and select a way to communicate what they have learned about an observed change.
