Students discover the many ways in which man and nature work together.  They explore the importance of replenishing natural resources, recycling, and reusing product.   Students learn how they can become stewards of nature.  They are also introduced to the free enterprise system in which people can decide how they want to earn, spend, and save money

The unit study includes a researched theme project-- How a plant or animal changes as it grows
