Why Should Students be Bilingual in German?

There are over a hundred million speakers of German, primarily in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the United States and other countries. The English language is from the Germanic family of languages; it is our mother tongue. German is recommended as an excellent tool for studying mathematics and the sciences. A reading knowledge of French or German remains a requirement of many graduate school programs at major universities.
