Plano Children's Chorale Title Graphic

Many of the elementary schools in the Plano ISD have a campus-wide choir consisting of students in the upper grade levels. These groups perform at various school and community functions, as well as business locations, throughout the school year.

The mission of the Plano Children’s Chorale is to provide developmentally appropriate choral experiences to identified musically exceptional students in grade 5. The Chorale rehearses weekly at Christie Elementary and presents one concert per year. In addition to this performance, the choir performs at various district events, and tours elementary campuses.

Students are selected from all district elementary schools through an audition process in the fall of the year for membership in the Chorale.
