 The Plano Association for the Gifted and Talented (PAGT) is a parent led organization of parents, families and teachers of gifted students in the Plano area. The organization provides information and support to parents of gifted children, as well as, advocates for appropriate education reform at the local, state and national levels. Simply put, the purpose of PAGT is to promote awareness of the unique social, emotional, and intellectual needs of gifted and talented students and to advocate appropriate educational services to meet these needs.
PAGT meets four times during the school year during the evening at a local Plano school. The $10 membership fee entitles the member to: a quarterly newsletter with articles concerning gifted students and education,a directory with members’ names, and a list of resources.
