These visit are useful to staff in learning what are appropriate
materials for school, discussing child development with parents
and tying the school and home together in a learning atmosphere.

process. Each staff member learns the progress of families as
they observe them in their own environment. A HOME (Home Observation
Monitor Evaluation) is used at the beginning of the year as a
pre and at the end of the year as a post assessment to evaluate
parenting skills learned throughout the school year.
