Distance Learning Labs - Tandberg Vision 5000

In High Schools and Senior High Schools

It is critical that the 2 side-by-side monitors not be pushed apart. These 2 monitors are connected on the back by a short cable. Pushing the units apart tears this cable from the back of one unit, making that unit unusable.

Teacher Console

  • Teacher consoles are in place at Vines and Clark High Schools and at PSHS and PESH.
  • At these locations, calls can be placed and received by using the teacher console. Calls are placed by entering the IP address of the unit you wish to call.

Remote Controls

  • Note: there are 2 remote controls - one for the monitor and one for the Tandgerg 5000.
  • At schools without a teacher console, calls may be placed and accepted (received) by using the Tandberg remote control. The number keys are used to enter the IP address of the party being called. The asterisk is used for the period in the IP address.
  • To adjust volume, use the monitor remote control (or the buttons on the front of the monitor) and use the Tandberg remote control.
